Joseph Rodgers & Sons clip point Bowie knife with sheath, approx. 11-1/2” overall with a 7” blade, simple cross guard, three pinned stag grip, blade marked J. Rodgers & Sons, No. 6 Norfolk St. Sheffield on hilt; in overall very good condition with only a couple light spots of erosion on the blade; good sheath with belt loop missing, a couple mars to the seam side of the leather, both metal tip and throat are present and the throat is period inscribed “To Ira from Daddy, Christmas 1880”.
