Manufactured circa 1770 to 1790. Brass frame and barrels with an iron trigger guard and one-piece walnut grip. Rifled barrels gauge at approximately .45 caliber. The sides of the frame have a patriotic motif with "JOSEPH" on the left and "LIVERPOOL" on the right. The trigger guard has an engraved floral blossom. The brass barrels are marked "6" and "7" with the number corresponding to the matching numbers on the left side of the breech plug. "Crown/GP" and "crown/V" proofs are stamped on the underside of the breech plug. Has a bar safety and thumb shield.

Condition: Very good. Overall the brass has a polished appearance with some minor handling marks. The trigger guard has a smooth gray patina with some minor pitting. The grip has been repaired near the frame, otherwise very good with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
