Letter to the Provost Marshall, in full: "The bearer of this is an old soldier & desires a pass to bring 1700 of his beds to the Army to sell all to be bought at one time & this pass to handle one trip out. Can you give it to him." In very good condition, with splits along intersecting folds, overall creasing, and a few small tears touching text.
