Joseph Heller signed limited edition of ''Catch-22.'' Franklin Library: Pennsylvania: 1978. The author signs clearly on the fly-leaf: ''Joseph Heller''. He explains in his introduction to this edition of his 1961 novel: ''...the title was invented...to fill a descriptive need for a kind of experience with which I wished to deal in my fiction...'' The 551pp. volume, measuring 6'' x 9.5'' and bound in blue leather with gilt lettering and edges, is in fine condition.
