Fascinating lot of tax documents for Joseph Doto Adonis, the infamous mobster who served on the ''Board of Directors'' for Luciano's National Crime Syndicate. Lot includes Doto's 1930 U.S. income tax return and several audit documents for unpaid taxes from 1929-1933. One such document states that Doto, ''because of the nature of his business'' never kept ''any bookkeeping records.'' Another handwritten document on Belvedere Hotel stationery adds the amount of tax, interest and penalties owed. A total of seven items in very good condition.
