<B>Jose Luis Salinas - Cisco Kid Daily Comic Strip Original Art, Group of 2 (King Features Syndicate, 1953-57).</B></I> Jose Luis Salinas got his start in the advertising field in 1929, illustrating for some of Argentina's largest agencies. Seven years later, he created his first comic series, <I>Hernan el Corsario</B></I>, followed by other comic strips such as <I>Capitan Tormenta</B></I>, and <I>Los Tres Mosqueteros</B></I>. In 1949, Salinas moved to the United States, and joined King Features, where he illustrated the comic adaptation of O'Henry's <I>Cisco Kid</B></I> from 1951 to 1968. Here are two dailies by Salinas, dated 10-8-53, and 8-19-57. The image area of each strip is 20" x 6", and aside from some yellowing to the Zipatone, both strips are in Excellent condition.
