<B>Jonesboro, IL</B></I> - $5 1929 Ty. 1 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # 12373<BR> A perfect companion piece to the serial number 1 large note offered above. Just three Series 1929 examples were reported from here before the discovery of this serial number 1 small note, with only one offering at public sale since 1992, when we sold the same piece we had offered in the 1992 sale (for nearly triple the $1320 the note brought in its first offering). PCGS has graded this note <B>Choice New 63 PPQ,</B></I> a grade which appears to be on the conservative side. The signatures here are the same as those on the large note above, Ed. L. Karraker as Cashier and I.O. Karraker as President.
