September 18, 1772. One page, manuscript, with docketing on verso. 7.5" x 12". A legal document signed by Trumbull (as witness), Peter Newcombe, and Simon Gage on the front. On the verso, Trumbull has written and signed an endorsement as Governor of the Colony of Connecticut. Toned, minor old repairs on verso, folds, else very good.<BR>•Jonathan Trumbull Jr. Document Signed. May 15, 1805. Hartford, CT. One page, partly-printed. 12.75" x 7.5". Appointing Asa Talcott to be "...Enisgn in the sixth Regiment of Militia in this State..." Also signed by Samuel Wyllys as secretary of state. Nice paper seal, folds, about fine condition.<BR>•Elisha Hale Document Signed. September 12, 1800. Glastonbury, CT. One page, partly-printed. 13.5" x 8". As Lieutenant Colonel Commandant of the Sixth Regiment, Hale appoints the same Asa Tallcott "...Sergeant of the third Company..."
