Screen-worn gray Calvin Klein suit worn by Jon Hamm in his role as Don Draper in the award-winning TV series Mad Men, seen in the second season’s fifth episode, ‘The New Girl,’ which first aired on August 24, 2008. The suit coat bears several tags and labels inside, including Calvin Klein, Woolmark, and Academy Award Clothes. In the episode, Draper wears this suit when he meets up with Bobbie Barrett at Sardi’s for drinks before driving back to her Long Island beach house. As a result of the alcohol and Bobbie’s distracting overtures during the ride, Draper crashes his car, which results in minor injuries including a four-inch tear along the left shoulder seam. The torn suit jacket is easily seen in the subsequent scenes. In very good to fine condition, with the aforementioned tear to the seam on the left shoulder. Accompanied by a Lions Gate/ScreenBid certificate of authenticity. As an easily identifiable screen-worn costume from one of the most widely acclaimed dramas of the 21st century, this is a superb piece of pop culture history.
