Pondicherry, Joint Issue, 1952, Multicoloured, Private Cancellation Sheet (must be made by an enthusiastic philatelist), Indian map of Bharat Mata holding Indian flag at one side, Deity and Temple on another part of the sheet printed with text on upper part “India Celebrates Mahatma’s Birthday” with three stamps from poet series of Saint Kabir, Tulsi and Mira tied, cancelled by “PONDICHERY | 1 OCT 1952” postmark. On the lower half of the sheet “ARCHAEOLOGICAL SERIES ETS. FR. DANC L’INDE” printed, Four stamps of French India Dance series tied, Cancellation seal “PONDICHERY | 25 – 12 – 1952 | INDE FRANCAISE” applied, Beautiful and Exhibit cover, excellent condition, Rare.
