Prolific writer (1883–1958) who created the character Zorro. McCulley produced countless stories, novels, and screenplays, and also collected pen names, writing under such monikers as John Mack Stone, Walter Pierson, Frederic Phelps, Harrison Strong, Raley Brien, George Drayne, Monica Morton, Rowena Raley, and others. Vintage fountain pen signature, “Yours Sincerely, Johnston McCulley,” on a light blue 5 x 3 sheet of personal letterhead, dated June 28, 1945. In fine condition, with a central horizontal fold and light corner creasing.
