Produced in the early 1940s for Denmark and the United States Marine Corps, the latter using the arm at the start of the Pacific Campaign, where it’s ability to be rapidly taken down and reassembled made it ideal for stowing in a paratrooper's jump bag. Blade front and adjustable 1000 meter rear sight, with ".30-06/ M/ 41" marked on the barrel flange, five line model and five line patent markings on top of the receiver, and a five-pointed star over "CRANSTON/ ARMS/ CO." in a triangle on the right side below the rear sight. Smooth two-piece walnut pistol grip stock, unmarked, with sling swivels and a checkered butt. With a scarce eight inch spike bayonet, with a leather sheath.

Condition: Excellent, with 97% of the original parkerized finish, showing some light handling marks overall. Stock is fine as refinished, with exception of some light hairline cracks around the rear sling swivel, a small filled area on the forearm and mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
