Two official Rawlings National League baseballs, each signed on the sweet spot in ballpoint by Johnny Sain, who signs the balls as follows: “John Franklin Sain, Jr.” and “John Sain,” who adds to upper and lower panels: “First pitch to Jackie Robinson, 4-15-47” and “Last pitch to Babe Ruth at War Relief Game, Yankee Stadium, 1949.” The War Relief game actually occurred on July 28, 1943, with Sain ultimately walking Ruth in the latter's final appearance in an organized ball game. In overall fine condition, with a stain to the stats ball.
