Original hand-inked three panel B.C. comic strip, dated March 8, 1971, on an off-white 20 x 7 sheet of artist’s cardstock, signed in the last panel in ink, “Hart,” and signed and inscribed in the lower border in blue ink, “To Mike, all the best, Johnny Hart”; and an undated TLS from Hart to the strip’s recipient, reading, in part; “I hope…the original bring as much satisfaction to you as your letter did to me. Hang in there fellah, the world needs more men like you.” In fine condition, with central vertical fold to strip, and some light toning and an edge tear to letter.
