Freak show performer (1911–1991) missing the lower half of his torso, best known for his role in Tod Browning's 1932 cult classic film Freaks. He was often billed as the amazing 'Half-Boy' and 'King of the Freaks.' ALS signed “Johnny,” one page, 5.75 x 7.5, October 22, 1987. Letter to a friend, in part: "Sorry for the delay—busy here every day, painting window screens for customers. A big thing in Baltimore! Try to get a copy of Psychtronic (Encyclopedia of Film (3,000 movies plus amazing stills!) You will find me and Prince Randion, the human torso, and myself in a great still photo from 'Freaks' page 260." In fine condition.
