Handwritten lyric fragment on a 4.25 x 3 partial sheet of Manila Hilton stationery. Cash writes 5 lines reading: “How do you like the people / How do you like the place? / If it were me / I'd hurt to see / An old familiar face.” Removably affixed by its corner tabs and double matted and framed with a photo of Cash and a biographical plaque, to an overall size of 13.75 x 25.25. In very good condition, with central vertical fold, scattered creases and wrinkles, and some light damp staining along bottom edge, lightly affecting the last couple of words of lyrics. Oversized.
