Desirable grouping of six 10K gold football charms presented to Harvard Crimson football coach John Yovicsin in honor of an annual Harvard–Yale rivalry game. Each JMF Co. charm measures approximately 1? in length and features engraved text denoting final score and Yovicsin as the recipient. The rivalry game charms include: 1958, “H-28 Y-0”; 1959, “H-35 Y-6”; 1962, “H-14 Y-6,” with included Princeton game score, “H-20 P-0”; 1964, “H-18 Y-14”; 1965, “H-13 Y-0”; and 1970, “H-14 Y-12,” with colored enamel still present; the engravings for Yovicsin are faint and just barely discernible. Also included is a 14K gold disc charm commemorating the Crimson record during Yovicsin’s tenure, with one side engraved, “1957–1971,” and the other, “W-78, L-42, T-5.” In overall very good to fine condition, with aforementioned fading to engravings.
