<B>John Wilkes Booth: An Outstanding Collection of Ten <I>Cartes de Visite.</B></I></B></I> <BR>--An unusual image by an unidentified maker. Shows his left profile from hips up, holding his right hand across his chest. Printed name below. Excellent-mint. <BR>--Another uncommon pose by an unnamed maker. Shows him seated, from knees up with right arm resting on a fringed support, and fingers at his chin. Paper loss across bottom of image. <BR>--Another unusual seated image by Joseph Ward, Boston. His coat is buttoned at the top but then hangs open at the waist to reveal a patterned vest. Excellent but for a couple of minor small stain marks. <BR>--A small image of Booth's head only, full face. Also by an unnamed maker. Excellent. <BR>--A standing Booth in elegant topcoat. Name printed below. Revenue stamp, but no maker on reverse. Very good, with center horizontal crease. <BR>--Two seated images showing him holding his walking stick in right hand. Both show his exposed patterned vest above waist. Neither is identified as to maker, but the larger is imprinted on Reverse "J. Wilkes Booth, Murderer of Abraham Lincoln". The latter grades excellent, the former very good. <BR>--Another, similar, but the exposed vest is of a solid color and his watch chain hangs in the center. No maker. Very good-excellent. <BR>--Two seated images in an ornate Victorian chair. The first is by E.H. McKinney, Riddford, Maine and in an unusual black and white tone. Second is by an unnamed maker and is in very good-excellent condition.
