<B>John Wayne Signed Letter, Framed with Photo.</B></I> A 5.5" x 7.5" letter signed by John Wayne (on Wayne's letterhead), dated February 29, 1973. Addressed to one Martin Kerr of the Los Altos YMCA, the letter relays Wayne's regrets for being unable to attend an unspecified event. The year 1973 was a busy one for Wayne, he was just finishing up <I>Cahill U.S. Marshal,</B></I> would begin filming <I>McQ,</B></I> and shot a handful of television appearances -- including <I>Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.</B></I> Ever the gentleman, the letter expresses his sincere apologies and is signed by Wayne in black ink. Matted and framed to an overall size of 20" x 14.5" and accompanied by a 7.5" x 9.5" color photo of Wayne on horseback.
