One of the greatest male stars of all time, John Wayne (1907-1979) was a noted actor, director and producer. He stole the hearts of millions for his portrayal of masculine rugged figures. He held strong political views, involving himself with anti-communist positions from the 1950s.
This signed 8" x 10" colour photograph of Wayne is in very good condition, with some light creasing at the corners. Wayne is shown in a Western setting, wearing an eye patch and holding on to a horse. He has humorously signed the card with the greeting 'Best wishes, from both of us' and dated the autograph to 1978.
