Campbell, Jr.: Signed Movie Edition of <I>Who Goes There?</B></I></B></I> (Chicago: Shasta Publishers, 1951), 230 pages, brown cloth with green lettering on spine, 12mo (5.25" x 7.75"), dust jacket. Signed "<I>John W. Campbell Jr.</B></I>" on the front free endpaper. Jacket design by Malcolm Smith, based on the 1951 Howard Hawks' film <I>The Thing from Another World.</B></I> The film was based loosely on the title story of this collection. It appears that Shasta utilized the same textblock as the first edition published in 1948. The copy presented here is in very good condition, with very minimal wear to the edges and some toning to the textblock. The dust jacket has some chipping of the spine and rubbing at the corners & panels, else very good.
