Two twelvemo volumes. <I>The Forbidden Garden</B></I> is one of 500 signed copies. <I>G.O.G. 666</B></I> is one of 300 signed copies. Both are inscribed and signed on the limitation page.<BR><BR>Orange cloth with gold spine titles. Illustrated endpapers and endleaves. Overall, books and dust jackets are fine. Born in Scotland, mathematician Eric Temple Bell (1883-1960) wrote non-fiction under his given name, but used the pseudonym John Taine for his fictional publications. His first novel, <I>The Purple Sapphire</B></I>, was published in 1924.
