This is an original John Segesman acrylic on board painting of General Custer. Segesman was a commercial artist who grew up in Spokane, Washington and spent his remaining years in Great Falls, Montana. Beginning in the 1950's, his artistic interests turned toward Western art. This piece shows a wonderful portrait of General George Armstrong Custer who was killed along with his men at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. The painting shows fine detail and is in good condition. The frame measures 14.5" x 17.5".
