John Romita Jr. was just reaching his stride in his three-year run on the <B>Iron Man</B></I> series, which was his first on-going comic book series. Here J.R. Jr. puts the pedal to the metal and revs up the tension to deliver this hard-edged page featuring a bikinied Beth Cabe, a snippety Justin Hammer, and a cold metal Force, all set in Hammer's spacious control center. Bob Layton's inks polish off this slick page. The overall size is 10.5" x 16" with a 10" x 15" image area. The art is clean with some blue line notations across several panels and along the bottom. Signed by Bob Layton at the bottom left. <B>Estimate: $250-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
