John Rigby, Paso Robles, CA, 410ga full sidelock over/under shotgun, highly engraved and gold inlaid with finest quality burl walnut stock in English quality leather over oak case with gold plated brass hardware and canvas cover. Serial #01EX for experimental over/under. The gun is beautifully engraved with game birds surrounded by foliage with tasteful gold accents, signed Creative Art on triggerplate. The gun shows 28-1/2” over/under barrels with raised hand-filed non-ventilated rib, single trigger, auto ejector, choked Modified over Improved Cylinder. The gun is beautifully stocked in finest burl walnut selected for its beautiful grain with extra fine checkering on forend and pistol grip. Checkered but with engraved plates top and bottom. The gun measures 15-1/4” from trigger to end of wood, and shows highest quality to attention and detail throughout. The gun is in fine condition showing just minor storage and limited use. 99% plus. The case is also in fine condition. A magnificent set obtained by Robert Petersen from one of California’s high grade custom arms makers, of whom he was a top customer. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
