Adams served as president from 1825 to 1829, and as a Representative in the House from 1831 until his death. Envelope is addressed to one Kenderton Smith, Esq. in Philadelphia. Measures 5'' x 3.25''. Only the front panel of envelope is present. Shows splitting to a vertical fold near top and bottom edges. Very good given age.
