Signed and inscribed with moderate contrast in black fountain pen on the illustrated title page, “To Mrs. Dewey from John Philip Sousa 1904.” In very good condition, with scattered soiling and edge chipping to the first page, and the spine heavily chipped and lacking front wrapper. Our consignor notes the book originated from the estate of Mildred Dewey, wife of Admiral George Dewey. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
