Notification on a bail payment: "Broom County, John Hurlburt of Lish in said county farmer is delivered to bail on the taking of his body to Moses Southwick of the same place carpenter and John…of the same place gentleman at the suit of Abner Johnson in a plea of trespass." Signed neatly at the conclusion by Paterson. Professionally inlaid into a slightly larger sheet. In fine condition.
