Important British architect (1752–1835) of the Georgian and Regency eras, who designed many important areas of London in the neoclassical and picturesque styles. Among his most recognizable works are the Royal Pavilion at Brighton, the Marble Arch in London, and the enlargement of Buckingham Palace. Third-person ALS, one page, 3.75 x 4.5, May 16, 1827. Third-person handwritten letter from his home at "14 Regent Street," which he designed and built in 1819–1823, in full: "Mr. Nash requests that Mr. Wainwright will call upon him tomorrow morning at nine o'clock." Addressed on the integral leaf in Wainwright's hand. In very good to fine condition, with seal-related paper loss, and clipped corners, adhesive remnants, and a rusty circular paperclip impression to the integral leaf.
