<B>John Marshall Manuscript Document Signed</B></I> DS "<I>J Marshall</B></I>", one page, 7.25" x 3.75", Richmond, Feb. 2, 1791. The receipt reads: "<I>Received from Mr. James Brown Thirty pounds curr</B></I>[enc]<I>y to annum.</B></I>" Large, clean signature, uneven margins, with a few folds; otherwise near fine.<BR><BR>Marshall served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court from 1801 until his death in 1835.
