1968 Unfinished Music No. 2: Life with the Lions Album Cover signed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
The album was signed for local DJ Chuck Chandler at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Quebec during the Bed-in for Peace in 1969.
Accompanied by a letter of provenance explaining how Chuck was invited by John Lennon to broadcast his afternoon drive show at CFOX radio, from John and Yoko's bedside for the week they would be protesting in Montreal.
John Lennon has signed the Album Cover 'Groovy, John Lennon' and added two caricatures of himself and Yoko.
Yoko has written 'Dear Chuck, Peace &______; from Yoko Ono'.
The writing is in black felt tip pen which has slightly faded, probably due to the Album Cover being contained in its original plastic covering.
Nevertheless a fantastic piece of Lennon memorabilia.
Also included is a piece of paper measuring approximately 8 inches x 2½ inches, on which John has written 'To Chuck and Gail, Peace and Love'. (a copy of the original complete writing, including John & Yoko's signatures and John's drawings, is included, this clearly shows the positioning of this piece of text within the original message)
