Walls and Bridges album signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "To Richard and Cynn 'Home,' with love and tee shirts from yer old pal, John, 74," with the addition of one of his self-portrait doodles and sketches of an elephant and a dog; Lennon has also drawn genitalia on one of the soccer players depicted on the album. In very good to fine condition, with edge and corner creasing, tear to lower right corner, and three spots of staining to upper right corner. The record is included. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, who notes that this album cover was signed for Richard and Cynthia Ross, who were at the time the owners of Home restaurant in Manhattan, where Lennon was a regular patron and a friend of the Ross family. Lennon had a close relationship with Richard Ross, and they had an ongoing inside joke regarding elephants—as evidenced by Lennon's playful sketch following the warm inscription. The Beatles star also produced some t-shirts for the Home restaurant, which he also alludes to here. A wonderful, especially personal signed piece. Pre-certified REAL.
