Pioneering professional golfer (1871–1963) who won five Open Championships between 1894 and 1913 and who was, along with Harry Vardon and James Braid, a member of the sport’s fabled “Great Triumvirate.” Vintage ink signature, “J. H. Taylor,” on an off-white 2 x 1.25 slip affixed to a slightly larger slip. In fine condition, with a staple hole above signature, and a trivial brush to a single letter of signature. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
