ALS signed “J: H: Livingston,” one page, 8 x 10, March 31, 1807. Letter to Abraham Huss at Albany, asking for clarification on a number of financial matters in statements given to him. In part: "You rec'd from John Bowman a Note of Peter Schoonmaker Feb. 1804 for £56:17:6 upon which Schoonmaker paid Dec'r £40:—has he since paid the Ballance?…I see that none of the rents you have received are later than 1805, excepting John A. Flint and Jacob Kelder who paid 1806.—have any of the Tenants brought rent since I had the pleasure of seeing you? Who are they and what have they brought?" In fine condition, with seal-related paper loss to the integral address leaf, slightly affecting the hinge.
