Partial self-contained partly-printed Revolutionary War-dated DS, one page, 5.5 x 3, August 30, 1782. Closing of a larger document, crisply signed by Hancock as Governor, and countersigned by John Avery. Suede matted and framed with an engraved portrait of Hancock, to an overall size of 15.5 x 24. Intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and some scattered mild toning, otherwise fine condition. An exceptionally bold and well-penned example from a crucial time in American history.
