An original and complete special edition of Muskingum County’s Times Recorder, 11.75 x 17, 40 pages, published in honor Glenn’s Mercury mission, “a Special Edition dedicated to America’s 20th Century pioneer.” Special edition paper Glenn’s life from his early childhood up to his triumphant return from space and ticker-tape parade. Paper also bears many advertisements of congratulations. This paper was presented to historian Rick Boos by Glenn’s parents shortly after Glenn’s historic flight. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Boos.
