<B>John Fogerty's "Cosmo's Factory" RIAA Gold Album Award.</B></I> A vintage white-matte style award presented to the Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman in December 1970 to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of CCR's fifth studio LP, a chart-topper that spawned six top-five singles. (The title comes from the warehouse in Berkeley where the band rehearsed. Fogerty was so insistent on practicing on an almost-daily basis that drummer Doug "Cosmo" Clifford began referring to the place as "the factory.")
