In full: “Remind me after the first of the year about arranging Father Cavanaugh’s luncheon — and also getting hold of young Grozier at Georgetown.” In fine condition, with lightly trimmed edges, and a horizontal fold resulting in a bit of light smudging to a couple words of text. Father Cavanaugh was the personal priest of the Kennedy family and a long-time friend of Joe Kennedy. He led a private Mass for the Kennedy family Saturday, November 23, 1963, after the shocking assassination of President John F. Kennedy a day earlier.
