<B>John F. Kennedy's Personal Copy of Arthur Hassal's <I>The Life of Napoleon</B></I></B></I> (Boston: Little, Brown & Company, 1911), first edition, 321 pages, green cloth with gilt and light blue titles, 8vo (5.75" x 8.75"), housed in a custom green quarter leather slipcase with gilt spine titles. Ownership stamp on the rear pastedown reads "John F. Kennedy." A bookplate on the front pastedown is from the 1996 Sotheby's sale of the Jackie Kennedy Onassis estate.
