John F. Kennedy handwritten notes as a Massachusetts Senator on official ''United States Senate'' letterhead. Circa May 1953, JFK writes on lined tablet paper regarding a variety of economic issues. At the time of these notes, Kennedy spoke extensively on labor law, unionization and the minimum wage. Page is numbered along the left side, corresponding to eight handwritten notes on the right side, such as ''Sounds too strong'' and ''Important to remember that people whose support is essential are pro T-H [Taft-Hartley]''. He also writes various numbers and doodles at top left. Single page measures 8'' x 10.5''. Very good condition with minor toning throughout. Originally part of lot 188 of the Guernsey's 1998 JFK sale.
