Three items: a souvenir program booklet for the 'Texas Welcome' dinner to be held at the Municipal Auditorium in Austin, Texas, on November 22, 1963, 8.5 x 11, 16 pages, containing brief biographies of the guests plus local advertisements; and two memorial record albums, "His Last 24 Hours," prepared by the State Democratic Executive Committee of Texas for those who would have attended the 'Texas Welcome' dinner. The recording features the three Texas speeches delivered by President Kennedy, plus his inaugural address. In overall fine condition, with bumped corners to the album sleeves, and one with a partial split to the top edge.

Organized by the State Democratic Executive Committee, more than 5,000 Austinites planned to attend this fundraising dinner on the final stop of the president's tour of Texas. Scheduled to occur on the night of Kennedy's assassination, the dinner would never take place.
