Kennedy” at Fliegerhorst Kaserne, Germany, on June 25, 1963, which houses the following: an eight-page general information pamphlet for “Visit of the President of the United States”; a “Schedule of Events” sheet with Kennedy’s “Address to Troops” slated for “1130–1140”; four pamphlets for “Project Officers,” “Participating Units,” “Distinguished Visitors,” and a four-page “Presidential Review” pamphlet for “Troop Commanders, Participating Units”; a 10.5 x 8 overhead map showing the presidential route; a 17 x 13 dual-sided 1:25,000 scale map of “Frankfurt, Routes and Installations,” showing in red the path from the “Visitors Bureau, US Army Transient Billets” to “Fliegerhorst”; a highly detailed 1:2,027 scale map, 29 x 22.5, showing the military complex at “Fliegerhorst Kaserne, Hanau”; a vehicle entry permit, issued as No. 593; and a blue authorization ticket for Kennedy’s Armed Forces Review on June 25, 1963. In very good to fine condition, with soiling and handling wear to the folder. Relating to Kennedy's historic trip to Germany from June 23–26, 1963, this folder dates to a day before his arrival in Berlin on the 26th, where he would deliver the famous 'Ich bin ein Berliner' speech.
