Senator John F. Kennedy autographed note signed, 1 page double sided on U.S. Senate stationery 6/15/59:

Another great example of Kennedy's wit is shown in this letter on official U.S. Senate stationery from 1959 where Kennedy asked journalist Drew Pearson to vote for him as JFK apparently needed 10 minutes to go vote on another issue and gave this proxy for Pearson to cast. Kennedy confidently notes "Signed—A front runner" in reference to his feelings on winning the Democratic nomination for President the following year.

Back of the letter states: "Your proxy is hereby returned, Drew Pearson"; a small sketch of apparently a body hanging from a gallows is to the right of Pearson's signature.
