Original April 24, 1934, edition of the Chicago Daily Tribune18 x 24, 22 pages, with the banner headline announcing “Dillinger Shoots Way Clear; Three of Gang Best Officers in Gun Battle.” Byline states “Two Dead, Four Shot in Earlier Battle.” In very good condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold, uniform toning, and several edge tears and chips to front page.
