John Dickson & Son 12 ga Shotgun 1 of the Best Scotish Gunnmakers

The gun is in good condition inside and out with partial scroll engraving and
Dickson & Son engraved in banners on the side of the action. The barrels measure
29 inches long and are as the day they were made, the bores are unmarked inside
and out.
The Dickson has a unique 3rd locking lug which is hidden;
Has ejectors and gun appears to be working.
The gun is fitted with a figured stock which is in excellant condition. No cracks and a
minor number of marks.

Beautifully crafted nitro proofed fixed choke barrels - Concave swamp rib - 2 3/4 inch chamber -
Gorgeous oil finished Walnut English straight stock with splinter forearm - Auto
safety.

John Dickson & Son.: Gun maker located in Edinburgh,Scotland from 1820 to 1980
at 63 Princess Street (1820 to 1927) - This gun is stamped along top of barrel
JOHN DICKSON & SON 63 PRINCESS STREET EDINBURGH so we assume
made before 1927

Serial number is 6020 - This number is on the watertable, barrel and tang behind
trigger guard.

Comes in a new hard case as shown in pictures
