John Byrne's first "regular gig" at Marvel was <B>Iron Fist</B></I>, and Byrne returned to the renamed series some years later to do a few covers. Doombringer doesn't want to conquer the world... he wants to destroy it! Byrne handled both pencils and inks on this apocalyptic cover, featuring the megalomaniacal assassin and the half-charred faces of Power Man and Iron Fist. The image area measures 10" x 15" and the art includes the original logo and masthead paste-up art. There is some discoloration in the material Byrne used to create the blast effects in the background; otherwise the condition is Very Good.
