Part of his plan involves freeing the Parasite, one of Superman's arch-rivals who has the power to absorb another's strengths and abilities. In this page, penciled by the titanically talented John Buscema, Supe punches his way into the thick of things, directly into Doom's lair. He holds his ground, as the Parasite attempts to get close enough to touch him and absorb his powers. Joe Sinnott grounds the kinetic pencils with his powerful inkwork and together, they turn out a page that is a sight to see! The overall page size is 13" x 17" with an image area of 12" x 16". The art is clean, with some staining apparent, which is most noticeable on all the word balloons and type boxes, where the original paste-ups have yellowed. A great piece of art from the second Superman/Spiderman crossover. <B>Estimate: $500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
