American aviator responsible for creating the first experimental aluminum plane in 1909. Exemplary vintage 6.5 x 4.5 photo of the pioneer in his metal aircraft, signed in ink, “Paris May 15, 1910, Juan B. Moisant.” In fine condition, with some light silvering to the darker areas of the image. A remarkably crisp and clear image of the man and his machine.
