Letter, written from the War Department, to Brigadier General Henry Burbeck, in New York. In full: “You will on receipt hereof "proceed to Boston & relieve General Boyd in the command of that post.” Intersecting folds, some mild toning, and light mirroring of signature, otherwise fine condition.
