10 5/8" by 30" framed. John A. White (21st century) is active/lives in Oklahoma. John White is known for Illustrator, draftsman, southwest landscape painting, teaching. Professional artist John A. White received his only formal watercolor painting training while attending his hometown high school in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He honed his skills, both natural and learned, over the next dozen years while working as an illustrator and draftsman for Oklahoma Gas & Electric in Oklahoma City. In 1984, John began his career as a professional artist, a career he has loved for over half of his life. In that time, art lovers from across the United States and beyond have collected his award-winning works, ranging from Native American to Southwest landscapes. His works have been purchased in Russia, Germany and France, besides across the US. His work also hangs in the Supreme Court Building at the Oklahoma State Capitol and Lake Murray Lodge where they are part of the States permanent collection. He also is a watercolor instructor at Murray State College and The Charles B. Goddard Art Studios both in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
